Professional with more than 20 years of experience in low-carbon energy systems, energy transition strategy, climate policy, and clean technology development.
Previously, she served as Senior Energy Officer at the European Commission Joint Research Centre, where she provided scientific and technical advice on European energy, transport, and climate policies, and was lead author of several editions of the Global Energy and Climate Outlook (GECO). She also held executive leadership roles in the private sector, including CTO positions in multinational clean technology companies.
Her expertise spans electricity systems, industrial decarbonization, sustainable finance, climate-tech scaling, and energy transition planning. Throughout her career, she has led and advised complex international projects involving governments, financial institutions, corporations, multilateral organizations, and investors across Europe, Latin America, and emerging markets.
