
An electronics engineer from the University of Brasília, with a specialization in petroleum engineering from Petrobras University, an MBA in Business Management from UFRJ, and training in Strategic Partnerships and Alliances from INSEAD.
He worked for 36 years at Petrobras, from field engineer to holding important executive positions in Exploration and Production. In the public sector, he served as Secretary of Development for the state of Espírito Santo and National Secretary of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels, as well as Executive Secretary and Acting Minister of Mines and Energy. He chaired the board of directors of companies such as the Espírito Santo Development Bank, ES Gás, and Pré-Sal Petróleo (PPSA).
He is currently president of Energy Platform (EnP) and of ABPIP (Brazilian Association of Independent Oil and Gas Producers).
