First Regional Call for Methane Action

Solutions, evidence, and innovation for emission mitigation in key sectors of Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Latin America and the Caribbean Methane Emissions Observatory (OEMLAC) invites expert consultants, technical specialists, government institutions, universities, research centers, companies, sectoral stakeholders, and international organizations to submit papers for the III Regional Summit of Methane, to be held on June 8 and 9, 2026.

We are seeking contributions grounded in technical expertise, evidence, and regional applicability that support the reduction, measurement, management, utilization, or understanding of methane emissions in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Selected papers may be featured in high-value spaces for technical exchange and regional visibility, including presentations at the Summit and other forums promoted by OEMLAC and the Community Practice on Methane (COEMLAC).

Contributions of an applied, practical, and scalable nature, with replication potential and regional relevance, will be especially valued.
