Santiago Nogueira currently serves as Undersecretary of Climate Change for the province of Neuquén. Under his leadership, the provincial climate change response plan and the province's emissions monitoring and mitigation program, which is currently being implemented, were designed.
He has been an environmental activist and has served in the legislative arena as a city councilor in Neuquén and as a provincial deputy, where he authored the water and environmental emergency law and the provincial climate change law.
